HLS extra wide 360° platform steps - Improve safety, increase productivity and efficiency

The HLS 360 platform step ladder is a game changer for improving safety and increasing efficiency on any job site.

The platform locks the ladder in place and is self-supporting which creates a good deal of additional balance when upright in comparison to traditional ladders. The additional stability reduces the need for a second person to foot the ladder. This has an added advantage right now by enabling users to work alone and social distance safely when working at height.

Prior to Covid-19, it was common for ladder-related tasks to utilise two team members. One would foot the ladder, to reduce the risk of falls, and the other would perform the maintenance task at height. But in a Covid-19 secure environment, it’s even more problematic as it’s quite impossible to maintain social distancing. So, while some companies are delaying essential maintenance and hoping for the pandemic to end, there is a better solution.

The 360 step ladder includes a tool tray at the top which provides extra storage space on the platform and reduces risks from falling items. This also increases efficiency by reducing the amount of back and forth and up and down for many tasks.

There is also a safe platform provided at the highest intended standing level which provides a stable base for a variety of jobs and the enclosed platform on three sides enables users to work for longer than 30 minutes.

The HLS 360 platform steps are ideal for working at height in offices; shops; factories; airports; transport hubs; warehouses; data centres; Libraries, archives and stores; hospitals; schools and universities; museums and other public buildings.
