IPAF Training Mobile Boom Category 3a

IPAF 3a Mobile Verticle Scissor Lift Course Description

This one-day IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) Operator (3a) course covers the safe use of Mobile Vertical machines generally called Scissor Lifts.  This operator training is also suitable for all other mobile vertical MEWPS. stock pickers, vertical mast lifts, magic carpets. Get in touch if you are not sure which category your equipment falls under.

Scissor lifts are essentially motorised vehicle with a raised platform that can be raised straight up. The criss-crossing metal supports that elongate as the platform is raised are the basic feature of scissor lifts that distinguishes them visually from other equipment used to work in higher elevations.

This course is aimed at individuals with previous operating experience who are or will be responsible for using Scissor Lifts/ Mobile vertical MEWP's in the workplace.

This course is Instructor-led practical training with both a written and practical
 assessment.
