Vertikal Days this year was a beautiful sunny affair, however unlikely this seemed on Tuesday when we were setting up for the show in torrential rain, and sometimes even hail!  Exhibitors tasked with setting up their stands veered between taking shelter in their marquees, and drying off their machines to keep that elusive showroom shine!

But by Wednesday when the show opened the heavens had closed and the sun was shining.  The show was soon buzzing, and our stand team were kept busy from the gates opening to close of play.

But if you didn't make it this year what did you miss?

Bluelift C22, 20m tracked (spider) hybrid access platform.  The C22 attracted a lot of attention as one of the UK's first true hybrid spider lifts.  The C22 featured a Lithium ion battery pack and standard combustion engine, coupled with intelligent software to select the most appropriate power source for each movement the hybrid is truly he future of tracked platforms.

Bluelift SA18, a very compact 18m tracked (spider) access platform.  This 18m platform from Bluelift is the same size as many competitor's 13-15m machines, making it a very versatile option for working in confined spaces both indoors and out.

RAM Gemini 20m truck mounted platform.  Ever-popular 20m truck mounted platform on the 3.5tn Nissan Cabstar chassis. The RAM truck-mounts feature a low transport height and centre of gravity making it easy to forget there is anything at all mounted onto your Cabstar when driving.  With optional free-on-wheels operation up to 14m, and optional narrow jacking this 20m machine was very popular with end-users working on busy highways or in cities.

If you missed us this year but would like to discuss or view any of this powered access equipment then please get in touch with our office team on 0113 287 8446.

And take note, Vertikal Days is a lovely show, with (normally) excellent weather, and copious free refreshments and catering, so if you do work with powered access, or cranes, book it into your diary for next year (watch this space for details).
