Work at Height toolkit for using ladders and stepladders

Written by Laura Hemsley | Feb 21, 2018

To help you safely manage the risks when working at height, we have prepared a ladder safety toolkit

According to the latest HSE figures, falls from height were responsible for 5.5 million working days lost in 2016/17 and if someone is injured by falling from height, they took on average just over 9 days off work.

Many of these accidents occur from a relatively low height, with 1,200 people on average suffering serious injuries as a result of falling from ladders and stepladders.

The toolkit includes a ladder pre-use checklist, using ladders and step ladders checklists.
